Sasha Marianna Salzmann

Sasha Marianna Salzmann é ensaísta e escreve para teatro, dedicando-se também à encenação. As suas peças têm sido representadas em diversos países e foram distinguidas com o Prémio Artístico de Berlim (Kunstpreis Berlin 2020).
O seu romance de estreia, Fora de Si – cuja versão portuguesa foi galardoada com o Grande Prémio de Tradução Literária – recebeu em 2017 o prémio literário da Fundação Jürgen Ponto, bem como o Prémio Mara Cassens, que distingue romances de estreia. Além disso, integrou nesse mesmo ano a shortlist do Prémio do Livro Alemão e foi entretanto traduzido em dezasseis línguas. O romance No Ser Humano Tudo Tem de Ser Belo foi também nomeado para o Prémio do Livro Alemão e venceu o Prémio Hermann Hesse em 2022. Salzmann recebeu no mesmo ano o Prémio das Casas da Literatura.
