Sara de Almeida Leite é professora no ISEC Lisboa, onde também coordena a pós-graduação Arte de Contar Estórias. Desde 2008 que tem publicado livros e artigos sobre o bom uso da língua e sobre o ensino da literatura. Já ilustrou obras de literatura infantil e trabalhou como tradutora. É doutorada em Estudos Portugueses, na especialidade de Ensino do Português, e fez toda a sua formação académica na Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, onde se estreou como professora em 1995. É autora das coleções infantojuvenis "O Mundo da Inês" e "Os Mega B.A.Y.T.E.S.", publicadas pela Porto Editora.
