Santa Montefiore
Santa Montefiore was born in England and grew up on a farm in Hampshire. She graduated in Spanish and Italian from the University of Exeter. She spent much of the 1990s in Buenos Aires, her mother's birthplace, an experience that profoundly marked her life and would inspire her writing. Since then, she has written over 30 novels, selling more than eight million copies worldwide. In 1998, she converted to Judaism and married historian Simon Sebag Montefiore. She currently lives in London with her husband and two children.
