Salvador Macip
Salvador Macip is Catalan and holds a doctorate in
Molecular Genetics, pursuing its
research work in New York,
at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he studied the
molecular bases of cancer. Since 2008
Directs the Mechanisms of Death Group
University of Leicester at the University of Leicester
United Kingdom. His scientific work focuses on
particularly on cancer and
cellular aging.
Beyond Cancer: Knowing, Comforting, Vencer, published two other books by scientific dissemination, Inmortales y Perfectos and Las Grandes Epidemias Modernas. É Head of the Science Section of the Via Lliure program, on Catalan radio RAC1, writing monthly about cancer and oncology in newspapers and magazines.
