Sally Morgan is the author of over 250 children's books, covering topics ranging from wildlife, natural history, science, geography, and the environment to biographies – making her one of the leading authors of informational books for children. Sally writes for children of all ages, from toddlers to 16-year-olds, as well as books aimed at family reading. Sally Morgan was a biology teacher for several years before dedicating herself to writing. When she's not writing, she tends to her small farm in Somerset, caring for the birds, animals, and tending the vegetable garden! For her, conservation is very important, so the farm is managed to improve biodiversity. Passionate about the relationship between people and food, Sally has set up a small educational center on the farm to provide training.
