Nascido em 1931, Manuel Rui Azinhais Nabeiro tinha apenas 19 anos quando assumiu a direção da Torrefacção Camelo, Lda. Em 1961 criou a Delta Cafés, que daria origem a um conglomerado empresarial que hoje é líder destacado no mercado. Várias vezes premiado pelo seu trabalho empresarial, social e filantrópico, o autor foi distinguido em 1995 com o grau de Comendador.
