Roger-Pol Droit é filósofo, escritor e jornalista. Foi professor de Filosofia e investigador do Centre national de la recherche scientifique, onde trabalhou sobre a representação do outro na filosofia ocidental. Cronista dos jornais Le Monde e Les Echos e da revista Le Point, é autor de livros que atravessam vários géneros literários, como 101 experiências de filosofia quotidiana ou A filosofia explicada à minha filha. Alice no País das Ideias é o seu primeiro livro na Objectiva.
