Rodrigo Caprio Leite de Castro é Médico graduado pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Médico de Família e Comunidade pelo Serviço de Saúde Comunitária do Grupo Hospitalar Conceição (SSC/GHC), em Porto Alegre (RS). Especialista em Medicina de Família e Comunidade pela Sociedade Brasileira de Medicina de Família e Comunidade/Associação Médica Brasileira (SBMFC/AMB). Médico de Família e Comunidade e Preceptor do Programa de Residência Médica em Medicina de Família e Comunidade do SSC/GHC durante 12 anos (2005-2017). Mestre e Doutor em Epidemiologia pela UFRGS. Professor Adjunto do Departamento de Medicina Social da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (DMS/FAMED/UFRGS). Integrante da Direção da SBMFC, gestão 2020-2022, no Departamento de Pós-graduação Stricto Sensu.
