Robyn Young nasceu em Oxford, em 1975, e cresceu nas Midlands e no Devon. Desde cedo começou a escrever poesia, histórias e artigos para jornais que lhe valeram vários prémios de escrita. Trabalhou como organizadora de festivais, promotora musical, conselheira de investimentos e professora de escrita criativa. Tem um Mestrado em escrita criativa, feito na Universidade de Sussex e vive em Brighton. Aos 25 anos começou a escrever o seu primeiro romance: A Irmandade, que foi bestseller logo na semana do lançamento.
