Robin Benway é autora premiada de nove romances juvenis, vencedora do National Book Award. O seu livro Far from the Tree foi amplamente aclamado e considerado um dos melhores livros do ano por vários meios internacionais. Além da ficção, publicou textos de não-ficção em jornais e revistas. Royal Spin, escrito com Omid Scobie, é o seu primeiro romance para adultos. Cresceu na Califórnia, estudou na NYU e UCLA, e vive em Los Angeles.
