Robert Wilson

Robert Wilson was born in 1957. He holds a doctorate from Oxford University and has worked in shipping, advertising, and commerce in Africa, and has lived in Greece and West Africa. He divides his time between England (Oxford) and Portugal, owning a farm in the Alentejo region. He is the author of several successful novels, among which we highlight... The Company of Strangers, Final Act in Lisbon (Gold Dagger Crime Writers Association for Best Crime Novel, in 1999, and International German Crime Award 2003), and the Seville Quartet – The Blind Man of Seville, The Missing Hands (Gumshoe Award for Best European Crime Novel 2006) Hidden Assassins and The Ignorance of Blood –, works that revealed and made famous Chief Inspector Javier Falcón. In 2012, the first two books of the Seville quartet were adapted for television by SkyAtlantic, in the series called FalconYour new hero is Detective Charles Boxer.
