Robert Thorogood é um escritor e argumentista nascido em Colchester, no Reino Unido.
Leu o seu primeiro romance aos 10 anos, Perigo na Casa do Fundo, de Agatha Christie, apaixonando-se pelo romance policial desde então.
Autor de vários livros, é também o criador da série de sucesso da BBC Death in Paradise.
O clube do crime de Marlow, o primeiro livro da série com o mesmo nome, foi vendido para 11 países e os direitos televisivos vendidos para a ITV.
Vive em Marlow com a mulher, filhos e os dois cães, Wally e Evie.
