Robert Jordan (17 de outubro de 1948-16 de setembro de 2007), natural de Charleston, na Carolina do Sul, foi o autor da saga bestseller mundial A Roda do Tempo, atualmente com milhões de livros em impressão, e talvez outros tantos exemplares nas estantes de uma base de leitores inigualável.
