Robert Hillman

Robert Hillman was born in 1948 and grew up in rural Victoria. He is the author of several novels, short stories, and poetry. His memoirs, published in 2004 under the title The Boy in the Green Suit, received the Australian National Biography Award. After many years teaching in secondary schools and universities, Robert Hillman now works as a full-time writer.
