Rie Qudan

Rie Qudan nasceu em Saitama, no Japão. Após a sua estreia em 2021 com Bad Music, que venceu o Prémio para Novos Escritores da Bungakukai, foi rapidamente aclamada como uma das mais promissoras escritoras da literatura japonesa. Em 2022, a sua segunda obra, Schoolgirl, foi finalista do Prémio Akutagawa, o mais prestigiado galardão literário do Japão. A sua terceira obra, The Poetry Horse, venceu o Prémio Noma para Novos Talentos Literários. O seu quarto romance e bestseller, Sympathy Tower Tokyo, foi publicado em 2024 e venceu o 170º Prémio Akutagawa. Recentemente declarou que cerca de 5% do romance foi escrito por inteligência artificial.
