Os seus empreendimentos enquanto empresário e investidor de sucesso incluem a Filofax, a Plymouth Gin, a Belgo e a Betfair.
É autor e coautor de cerca de duas dezenas de livros de gestão, liderança e desenvolvimento pessoal, em que se inclui O Gestor 80/20 (Vogais, 2025), e o seu bestseller, com mais de um milhão de exemplares vendidos e publicado em mais de trinta línguas, O Princípio 80/20.
