Richard Chizmar is the author of the New York Times bestsellers Becoming the Boogeyman and Chasing the Boogeyman, The Girl on the Porch, The Long Way Home (his fourth collection of short stories) and Widow's Point, a chilling narrative about a haunted lighthouse, written together with his son Billy Chizmar and adapted into a film in 2019.
