Ricardo Venâncio é um ilustrador de Lisboa, onde vive. Ao longo de 18 anos de trabalho profissional, Ricardo trabalhou em animacão, ilustracão editorial, concept design, storyboard para publicidade e Banda Desenhada. Quando tinha 12 anos, dividia o seu tempo livre entre ler Banda Desenhada e pesquisar entradas sobre Mitologia Grega na enciclopédia dos pais. Hanuram é o seu primeiro álbum a solo, depois de alguns anos de projectos para o mercado americano.
