Ricardo Santo

Nascido em Leiria, em 1976.
Criado em Pataias.
Vive atualmente em Barcelona, onde exerce a atividade de designer industrial e é ilustrador, animador e autor de BD no tempo que lhe sobra.
Em BD recebeu vários prémios em festivais e certames. O primeiro no Amora BD em 1991. E o último no Festival de BD da Amadora, em 2005.
Começou a fazer BD desde que aprendeu a escrever e estreou-se a publicar ainda nos anos 80, durante a instrução primária, no Jornal de Pataias, com a série "Ching Xung", inspirada nos "Jovens heróis de Shaolin".
Já na idade adulta, teve uma breve passagem pelo cartoon político, também na imprensa regional e contribuiu com histórias suas para vários fanzines, revistas e coletâneas de banda desenhada, tendo sido autor do seu próprio "Fanzine para machos" e coautor do pasquim "O Desgraçadinho".
Em 2017, publicou em edição de autor o albúm de BD "Livro sagrado".
