Ricardo Costa Agarez é arquiteto e historiador da arquitetura e das cidades, atualmente professor no Departamento de Arquitetura da Universidade de Évora. Tem publicado livros e artigos sobre arquitetura e identidades nacionais e regionais, habitação multifamiliar, arquitetura pública, produção, circulação e intercâmbio de conhecimento arquitetónico e culturas arquitetónicas em burocracia (séculos XIX e XX). Coordenou o projeto "Habitação: Cem Anos de Políticas Públicas em Portugal, 1918-2018".
