Rémulo Jónatas
Rémulo Jónatas was born on May 16, 1978, in Porto. He only began his journalistic career at the age of 19, in mid-1997, working for a corporate publication. In the summer of 1998, he first joined the newspaper... The GameIt was there, incidentally, that he was able to begin work more closely linked to the field of sports, as he had always aspired to. He remained at the sports daily until mid-2000, when, after having been responsible for the press office of the World School Volleyball Championship, working directly and under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, he joined the staff of Infordesporto, and more specifically the editorial staff of the sports information portal. Infordesporto.euFor about two years, he dedicated himself mainly to the daily monitoring of the work of Futebol Clube do Porto. May 2002 coincided with a new return to The Game, integrating the content section of the aforementioned newspaper, which allowed him to work not only for the online version of the daily but also for the print version. A year later, he would go on to work at Daily News, in the Special Publications section, as part of the author team of Great Encyclopedia of European Football, which culminated in the publication of a four-volume work on the subject. He also collaborated with the official UEFA website in Portuguese, before joining the staff of The Port's TradeIn that publication, he worked between January 2004 and June 2005, when the editing and publication of the Decano newspaper of the National Press was suspended. He is the author of the work History of the FIFA World Cup.
