Rémi Guérin nasceu a 12 de outubro de 1979 em Nogent-sur-Marne, França. Estudou cinema e comunicação, tendo ingressado na FNAC como assistente responsável pela comunicação. Durante esse período, conheceu Éric Corbeyran, que lhe ofereceu a oportunidade de o acompanhar na produção da sua primeira série Les Vraies Légendes Urbaines como coargumentista, publicada pela Dargaud. Em 2013, coescreveu com o jornalista e animador Marcus a banda desenhada: L'Intrépide, e com Lorànt Deutsch a banda desenhada histórica: Histoires de France Volume 2.
