É o grande repórter do L’Équipe que acompanhou a carreira de Cristiano Ronaldo durante 25 anos.
Formado em Jornalismo pelo Institut Pratique du Journalisme de Dauphine Université Paris Dauphine-PSL, junta-se, mal termina os estudos, em 1998, à equipa da secção de desportiva do diário L’Équipe.
Apaixonado desde sempre por desporto, e principalmente por futebol, é atualmente diretor da secção de futebol do L’Équipe e o maior especialista no tema Cristiano Ronaldo.
Dupont é ainda autor de 101 Fois Ronaldo; FC Nantes, Épopée 2022: L’Incroyable Saison Des Canaris; e coautor de Championnes: 50 Femmes Qui Ont Marqué L’Histoire Du Sport.
