Regina Guimarães

Regina Guimarães nasceu no Porto e é uma poetisa, cineasta, dramaturga e letrista.
Juntamente com o seu companheiro Serge Abramovici (Saguenail), com quem vive desde 1975, fundou a editora Hélastre. Regina Guimarães é membro da banda musical Três Tristes Tigres, tendo escrito as letras das canções da banda. Também escreveu algumas das letras de canções dos Clã.
O primeiro livro da Regina Guimarães foi publicado em 1979, e, apesar de um ritmo de publicação irregular, é considerada como uma das mais importantes artistas da cidade do Porto. A sua poesia caracteriza-se por uma forte musicalidade, associada a imagens fortes e bizarras. Além de livros de poesia, tem publicado outros, de dramaturgia e de teatro. Tem desenvolvido extensivo trabalho como encenadora, também. Paralelamente, tem desenvolvido trabalho em vídeo, nalguns casos, ao lado de Saguenail.
