Raphael Montes nasceu em 1990, no Rio de Janeiro, no Brasil. Escritor, guionista e produtor, publicou O Vilarejo, Uma Mulher no Escuro, Suicidas, Jantar Secreto, Uma Família Feliz e Dias Perfeitos, estes quatro últimos editados pela Cultura.
Vencedor do prémio Jabuti, a sua obra está traduzida para mais de 25 idiomas e tem direitos vendidos para teatro e cinema. Montes escreveu os filmes Praça Paris, A Menina Que Matou os Pais e O Menino Que Matou Meus Pais. Criou Beleza Fatal, em streaming na HBO Max, e Bom Dia, Verônica, série da Netflix.
