Ram Dass

Ram Dass (or Dr. Richard Alpert) was a professor and psychologist at Harvard and became known for his research on the therapeutic effects of certain psychotropic substances.
In 1967, he traveled to India, where he met his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, affectionately known as Maharaj-ji, who named him Ram Dass – "servant of God". From then until his death in 2019, he dedicated his life to serving others, founding, among others, the Love Serve Remember Foundation and the Hanuman Foundation.
Ram Dass became one of the most important spiritual mentors, helping to bring Eastern spirituality to the West.
