Rafael Nadal
Rafael Nadal was born in Manacor (Mallorca, Spain) on June 3, 1986. He was interested in sports from a young age, having played football and tennis. When forced to choose between these two sports, he decided on tennis. In 2004 he won the Davis Cup With his teammates from the Spanish National Team, he won his first major trophy. A year later, he established himself as a professional by defeating Mariano Puerta in the final of... Roland Garros, the first of his 13 titles at the Parisian tournament. To date, Nadal has 20 titles in his career. Grand Slams, 2 Olympic gold medals and 5 Davis Cup, among others. In 2016, he opened in Manacor, his hometown, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, an academy whose goal is to pass on to young athletes everything that he has learned throughout his career.
