Rafael Loureiro é professor de Educação Física, praticante e mestre de artes marciais e também produtor. Desde cedo, manifestou o gosto pela escrita, primeiro através da poesia e, mais tarde, de contos. A trilogia Nocturnus, publicada pela Editorial Presença, tornou-o um autor de culto do género fantástico. Em 2016, lançou Cinzas de Um Novo Mundo, um romance distópico, também numa edição da Editorial Presença. Regressou com Sombra de Um Peregrino, que promete conquistar inúmeros leitores.
