Rachel Maddow

Rachel Maddow nasceu em 1973, na Califórnia e, além de autora de vários bestsellers de não-ficção, é também comentadora e anfitriã de programas de informação na rádio e televisão norte-americanas, apresentando atualmente The Rachel Maddow Show na MSNBC. Publicou os livros Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power (2012), Blowout: Corrupted Democracy, Rogue State Russia, and the Richest, Most Destructive Industry on Earth (2019) e, em coautoria com Michael Yarvitz, Bag Man: The Wild Crimes, Audacious Cover-up, and Spectacular Downfall of a Brazen Crook in the White House (2020). Recebeu vários prémios Emmy e também um Grammy pela versão áudio do livro Blowout. É formada em Políticas Públicas pela Universidade de Stanford e doutorada em Ciência Política pela Universidade de Oxford. A América contra o Fascismo, baseado no seu popular podcast «Ultra», foi lançado em 2023 e, à semelhança de outras obras da autora, atingiu o primeiro lugar da lista de bestsellers do The New York Times.
