Venceu o Hugo Award e o Astounding Award for Best New Writer, bem como os prémios Crawford e Compton Crook para livro de estreia, A Guerra das Papoilas — o primeiro livro de uma trilogia já em publicação pela Desrotina —, além de ter sido nomeada para os Nebula, Locus e World Fantasy.
