His directorial debut was in 1992, with Naughty DogsNext, he co-wrote, directed, and starred in... pulp Fiction, with which he won his first Oscar for Best Screenplay. The acclaimed films followed. Jackie Brown, Kill Bill 1 and 2, Death Proof, his epic film about World War II, Lawless Scoundrels, Django Unchained (for which he won his second Oscar for Best Screenplay), and The Hateful Eight.
His most recent film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, brilliantly reinvented in his debut novel, was nominated for 5 Golden Globes, 10 BAFTAs and 10 Academy Awards.
