Philipp Vandenberg

Nasceu em 1941. É licenciado em Filosofia Germânica e História de Arte pela Universidade de Munique. Trabalha como jornalista para jornais diários e revistas alemãs de renome. O seu romance Der Fluch der Pharaonem ("A Maldição dos Faraós") teve um enorme sucesso a nível mundial. Philipp Vandenberg é conhecido pelos seus romances policiais históricos, mas também por livros sobre História. É um dos escritores mais traduzidos da actualidade, tendo as suas obras sido traduzidas para mais de 30 línguas. Até 1999, venderam-se mais de 16 milhões de exemplares dos seus livros em todo o mundo.
