Philipp Bagus
Philipp Bagus is a full professor of economics at Rey Juan Carlos University, based in Madrid, and an internationally recognized voice in the fields of Monetary Theory and Business Cycle Theory. His research has been published in leading academic publications, such as Journal of Business Ethics, Independent Review and the American Journal of Economics and Sociology, among others.
Throughout his career he has been honored with numerous awards, including the O.P. Alford III Award in Libertarian Scholarshipthe Ron Paul Liberty Award in Mediathe Stock Exchange Sir John M. TempletonThe IREF Prize and the Prize Ludwig Erhard of Economic Journalism (2016).
He is the author of the book The Tragedy of the Euro, translated into fourteen languages and of In Defense of Deflation, a book recommended by the President of Argentina, Javier Milei.
