Peter Nichols

Peter Nichols is the author of the international bestsellers A Voyage for Madmen and Evolution's Captain, and three other books of fiction, memoirs, and nonfiction. He spent three years at sea as a captain and was a professor of Creative Writing at Georgetown University, New York University in Paris, and Bowdoin College in Maine. He worked in advertising, was a pastor in Wales, worked as a screenwriter, and crossed the Atlantic solo. He divides his time between Europe and the United States. He is a professor in the Master in Fine Arts program at Antioch University, Los Angeles.
