Peter Flamm

Peter Flamm (pseudónimo de Erich Mosse) nasceu em Berlim em 1891 e começou a publicar artigos e contos na imprensa quando era ainda aluno de Medicina. O seu romance de estreia, Eu?, lançado em 1926, surpreendeu o meio literário alemão e nos anos que se seguiram Flamm escreveu mais três livros. Judeu, viu-se forçado a deixar a Alemanha em 1933, mudando-se para Paris e depois para Nova Iorque, onde se fixou até à sua morte, em 1963. Distinguiu-se especialmente como psiquiatra e foi médico de figuras como Albert Einstein e Charlie Chaplin.
