Peter Cheyney

Peter Cheyney (1896-1951) é considerado o primeiro escritor britânico de policiais noir. A vida sedentária e a rotina de um trabalhador de escritório não o satisfizeram e decidiu enveredar pelo mundo do espetáculo. Alistou-se nas duas grandes guerras mundiais e, aquando da sua morte, era um dos mais conhecidos e bem-sucedidos autores de policiais.
