Pet Shop Boys are a British electronic pop music duo, formed by Neil Tennant (vocalist and lyricist) and Chris Lowe (keyboardist and producer), in 1981, in London. The band is widely recognized as one of the most successful and influential in pop and electronic music, with a sound that combines synth-pop, dance, and disco, accompanied by clever and often satirical lyrics that address themes of love, politics, culture, and urban life.
