Pedro Valdez Cardoso

Pedro Valdez Cardoso (Lisboa, 1974), vive e trabalha em Lisboa.

Expõe regularmente desde 2001, tendo participado em inúmeras exposições individuais e coletivas em Portugal e no estrangeiro.

A obra que tem vindo a desenvolver, com um maior foco na escultura e na instalação, centra-se sobretudo em problemáticas relacionadas com a identidade (social, sexual e cultural), e questões pós-coloniais.

Encontra-se representado em diversas coleções públicas das quais se destacam: Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisboa; Arquipélago–Centro de Artes Contemporâneas, Açores; Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Lisboa; Fundação Carmona e Costa, Lisboa; DA2-DOMUS ARTIUM 2002, Salamanca, Espanha; IVAM–Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderna, Valência, Espanha; MUDAS-Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Madeira, Calheta, Madeira; Museu Nacional de Soares dos Reis, Porto; Fundação PLMJ, Lisboa; MACUF-Museu de Arte Contemporânea Union Fenosa, A Coruña, Espanha.
