Conhecido historiador dos veículos militares nacionais, Pedro Manuel Monteiro começou a trabalhar no livro Berliet, Chaimite e UMM em 2015. Em 2011, publicou a monografia Military Vehicles of the Portuguese Army e entre 2008 e 2013, publicou artigos sobre viaturas militares na revista Motor Clássico.
Especializado em reportagens fotográficas, fez trabalhos com forças militares e nacionais em Portugal, Lituânia e Kosovo.
Atualmente vive na Holanda, onde trabalha numa multinacional no setor de bens de grande consumo.
Pedro Monteiro colabora com publicações de assuntos militares e é correspondente para Portugal da revista espanhola Fuerzas Militares del Mundo.
