Pedro Boucheirie Mendes nasceu em 1970. Jornalista, trabalhou na rádio, no jornal O Independente e em várias revistas. Está na SIC desde 2009 e tem vários livros publicados. Nos anos oitenta, que passou nos arredores de Lisboa, andou sempre na escola pública, fez rádio pirata, comprou discos na Bimotor e roupa na Feira de Carcavelos, viu concertos no Dramático de Cascais, foi a Espanha comprar caramelos, passou férias no Algarve e fez viagens à terra. Também foi muitas vezes à Feira Popular comer frango assado, e até fez a PGA.
