Pedro Biscaia

Pedro Melo Biscaia nasceu em 1956. Licenciado em História e pós-graduado em Gestão e Administração Escolar, serviu, durante mais de quatro décadas, o sistema educativo público, em várias funções. É militante cívico e cultural, também com ação no voluntariado. Durante três mandatos, foi deputado municipal. Colabora regularmente na imprensa regional. Em 2022, recebeu o Prémio Carreira do semanário Região de Leiria e, em 2023, foi agraciado com a medalha de mérito de serviços relevantes pela Câmara Municipal de Leiria. Sempre escreveu "para a gaveta". Roteiro dos Afetos Maternos é o seu primeiro livro editado.
