Paulo Pereira

Paulo Pereira é historiador da arte, mestre em História da Arte pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa e doutor em História da Arquitetura pela FAUTL. Participou como conferencista convidado em diversos seminários, palestras e congressos em Portugal, Espanha, França (CNRS), Alemanha, Itália, EUA e Brasil e colaborou em numerosos catálogos relativos a temas da disciplina. Organizou várias exposições em Portugal e no estrangeiro. Foi vice-presidente do IPPAR entre 1995 e 2002. Dirigiu a História da Arte Portuguesa (Círculo de Leitores, 3 vols., 1995). Publicou Lugares Mágicos de Portugal (Círculo de Leitores, 8 vols., 2004-2005). Foi codiretor da exposição Neue Welten (Novos Mundos), mostrada no Deutsches Historisches Museum de Berlim. Publicou o volume Arte Portuguesa - História Essencial (Temas e Debates, 2011). Publicou também a coleção Decifrar a Arte Portuguesa (Círculo de Leitores, 8 vols., 2014) e a coleção Arte e Ciência (Círculo de Leitores, 5 vols., 2018). É professor auxiliar da Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa.
