Há quase duas décadas que Paulo Meira se dedica ao estudo, prática, investigação e ensino de disciplinas provenientes da Índia como o Sânscrito, Ayurveda e Yoga.
Doutorou-se em Sânscrito na Tilak Maharashtra University (Pune, Índia) e é professor de Sânscrito (Centro de Línguas e Licenciatura em Estudos Asiáticos) e Ayurveda (Centro de Estudos Indianos) na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa.
