Paulo Andrez é angel investor, especialista internacional em empreendedorismo e inovação, desenvolvimento de negócios, scale-up e mitigação de riscos. Recebeu o prémio Best European Angel Investment em 2012. Um dos seus investimentos (Sword Health) tornou-se unicórnio em 2022. Fundou a Agência de Empreendedorismo DNA Cascais, que apoiou mais de 400 start-ups. É presidente emérito da European Business Angel Network, de que foi presidente até 2014. Tem trabalhado com vários governos europeus na conceção e implementação de políticas de empreendedorismo e inovação. É palestrante em todo o mundo como especialista em inovação, empreendedorismo e investimento. Desde 2012, tem realizado vários workshops sobre mitigação de riscos de novos empreendimentos: Startup Risco Zero.
