Paul Kieve é um mágico ilusionista e serviu como instrutor de magia durante as filmagens de Harry Potter e o Prisioneiro de Azkaban. Paul Kieve interessou-se pela magia depois de lhe terem oferecido, aos 10 anos, uma caixa de magia. A partir dessa data nunca mais deixou de comprar livros de magia e de aperfeiçoar as técnicas. Ele vivia perto de um teatro, Hackey Empire, onde se realizavam grandes espectáculos de magia.
