Paul Collins

Paul Collins was born in England, grew up in New Zealand and moved to Australia in 1972. In 1975 he edited Void, a science fiction magazine. In 1978, Paul stopped working in the magazine's edition and began to dedicate himself to publishing literature, with a series of science fiction books, novels and anthologies. His first fiction novel for young readers was The Wizard's Torment. Paul then edited the young adult anthology Dream Weavers, the first Australian heroic anthology. It was followed by Fantastic Worlds and Tales from the Wasteland. Together with Michael Pryor, Paul is co-editor of the renowned fiction series The Quentaris Chronicles; and also contributed to the series as an author. His most recent works include The Jelindel Chronicles and The Earthborn War trilogy. The author has been awarded several awards, including the first Peter McNamara, the Aurealis and the William Atheling. It was also nominated for several others, including the Aurealis and the Ditmar.
