PRÉMIO NOBEL DA LITERATURA 2014

Patrick Modiano nasceu em Boulogne-Billancourt, nos arredores de Paris, em julho de 1945, e publicou o seu primeiro romance, La Place de l’Étoile, em 1968. Com Na Rua das Lojas Escuras, obteve em 1978 o Prémio Goncourt. Em 1972, recebeu o Grande Prémio de Romance da Academia Francesa com As Avenidas Periféricas.
Considerado um dos mais importantes escritores franceses, e autor de uma vasta obra, foi distinguido com o Grande Prémio Nacional das Letras e com o Prémio Nobel da Literatura de 2014.
