Patricia Torres

Born on November 29, 1972, in São Julião do Tojal (Loures), where she completed her primary education. As a young girl, at the age of 9, she moved to the capital, Lisbon, to continue her studies and was nicknamed "the country girl" by her classmates. The granddaughter of farmers (maternal grandparents), a laundress, and a saddler (paternal grandparents), she has never been ashamed of her origins. Married with two children, she has worked as an administrator for 34 years. A humble woman, with grit, straightforward, honest, extremely focused, and very resilient—values ​​her parents instilled in her throughout her life. Her writing stems from a passion for reading and also from her life story, which still has much to tell.
