O P. António de Magalhães Sant’Ana, sj entrou no noviciado da Companhia de Jesus no dia 21 de setembro de 2001.
Fez o primeiro ciclo de Teologia na Pontifícia Universidade Gregoriana de Roma, completando os seus estudos em Teologia e Ciências Patrísticas no Instituto Patrístico Augustinianum de Roma.
Ordenado sacerdote no dia 9 de julho de 2011, fez os seus Últimos Votos no dia 27 de dezembro de 2018.
