Ottessa Moshfegh is a fiction writer born in New England, in the United States of America. Her mother was born in Croatia and her father in Iran. Eileen, his first novel, won the PEN/Hemingway Prize and was a finalist in National Book Critics Circle Award and of Man Booker Prize. My Year of Rest and Relaxation and Death in Your HandsHer second and third novels were both bestsellers and critically acclaimed. She is also the author of the short story collection. Homesick to Another World and from the soap opera McGlueIn 2022, she published the novel. LapvonaHe currently lives in Southern California.
